  • There is no set cost for the sitting - a donation is suggested and there will be 2 baskets -- one for No Abode & one for a teaching donation.

No Abode is located in a residential area that has limited parking, so carpooling is important to minimize impact on the neighbors. There is typically no parking at the house, so please park on Erica Road, being careful not to block driveways.

Directions to No Abode:

From Hwy 101, take the Hwy 1 Stinson Beach Exit.
At the Arco station, turn LEFT, onto Shoreline Hwy/Hwy 1
Go 2 miles, turn LEFT onto Erica Road
Make a sharp RIGHT onto Friar's Lane - NO ABODE is at the end of the cul de sac, #8 Friar's Lane.

'Sangha Talk' email discussion group

If you have email you can join an ongoing discussion of the sitting group talks, Zen studies, daily practice, carpooling and Reb's teachings. This is a 'distribution list' so that when you send an email to the list address, it goes to everyone on the list.

If you want to reply ONLY to the person who posted a message, make sure to put their email address in the "To:" field in your email; otherwise it will automatically go to everyone on the list. For those of us who are not able to make it to Zen Center as often as we'd like, it has helped us to feel more connected to sangha. To join, change your email address or unsubscribe, please send an email to
Patricia. Enjoy !

'Sangha' announcement email list

This email list is ONLY for announcements about Tenshin Roshi's schedule and related events & information. It is NOT a discussion group; 'Sangha Talk' (above) was created for discussion. If you'd like to receive such announcements, please send an email to Patricia. Enjoy !
